About Circuito de Sevilla

Circuito de Sevilla (officially Circuito Monteblanco, sometimes Circuito de Huelva) is a 4.432 km, 18-corner motor racing circuit at La Palma del Condado in Huelva province in Andalusia, around 50 km west of Sevilla. The circuit was built in 2005–2006 and is one of the longest permanent circuits in Spain, anchored by a 960 m main straight (among the longest in Europe). The 13 m wide layout combines high-speed straights with sweeping mid-corner technical sequences, significant elevation changes and broad asphalt run-off areas — designed deliberately for maximum versatility, with 26 different track variations and 12 combinations for running two separate loops simultaneously. Although primarily a test and trackday facility, Circuito de Sevilla hosts regional and national championship rounds, club racing and an enormously busy motorcycle trackday programme that draws riders from across Spain, Portugal and Morocco. The warm dry Andalusian winter climate has made it one of the busiest winter testing destinations for European motorcycle teams.
