About Motorsport Arena Groß Dölln

Motorsport Arena Groß Dölln (Driving Center Groß Dölln) is a 2.448 km motor racing circuit at Templin in north-eastern Brandenburg, Germany — around 80 km north of Berlin. The site began life as a German Luftwaffe airfield in 1936 (later used as a Soviet airbase during the Cold War). The runways and dispersal areas were repurposed into a permanent motorsport, training and rally circuit in the early 2000s, with multiple configurations available — Layout A, Layout B and combined A+B layouts — for different testing and training requirements. The 2.4 km Layout A+B features a mix of fast corners and technical sections. The facility is more than a racing circuit: it is a comprehensive driver training and OEM testing centre with special wettable surfaces, skidpads, rallycross capabilities and a long history of hosting German Touring Car Championship and European Le Mans Series testing. Today Motorsport Arena Groß Dölln hosts national motorcycle and car club championship rounds, motorcycle safety training and rider development courses, and serves as a major test venue for Berlin and Brandenburg-based teams. Its remote forested setting and dual-use rallycross capabilities give it a unique character among German trackday venues.
