About Circuit d'Alcarràs

Circuit d'Alcarràs is a 3.743 km, 14-corner (10 left / 4 right) motor racing circuit at Alcarràs in the Lleida province of Catalonia, north-eastern Spain — easily reached via the A2 motorway from Barcelona, Lleida and the French border. The circuit was inaugurated in May 2007 and is one of Spain's newer permanent racing venues. The asphalt was completely resurfaced in 2023 to FIM A standards. A distinctive feature of the layout is the rear section, which features two fast left turns climbing a steep 9% incline — a rollercoaster-like sequence unlike anything else in Spanish motorsport. Circuit d'Alcarràs is predominantly used for motorcycle racing and motorcycle trackdays. Its challenging layout, generous asphalt run-off areas and high-grip surface make it popular with professional teams (it's a regular winter test venue) and amateur riders alike. Alcarràs hosts the Catalan motorcycle championship, the Spanish ESBK national championship rounds, the FIM CEV Repsol Moto2 European Championship and an extensive year-round trackday programme.
