About Circuit du Mas du Clos

Circuit du Mas du Clos is a 3.1 km, 12-turn private motor racing circuit near Saint-Avit-de-Tardes in central France's rural Creuse department. The circuit was created in 1963 by Pierre Bardinon — heir to a French leather goods business (best known for supplying flying jackets to the US Air Force) and one of the world's most prominent Ferrari collectors of the 20th century. For decades the circuit was a private test and entertainment venue for Bardinon's extraordinary Ferrari collection. After more than a decade of closure for safety and infrastructure reasons, the circuit was fully renovated and officially reopened in October 2022, with new FFM homologation for motorcycles in addition to cars.
