🇫🇷Anneau du Rhin

Anneau du Rhin is a 3.7 km, 16-corner motor racing circuit at Biltzheim in the Haut-Rhin department of Alsace, north-eastern France — around 25 km south of Colmar. The original 2.919 km circuit was planned and built in 1996 by Marc Rinaldi on the site of a former hunting estate, and is today managed by his son François Rinaldi. The route was extended in 2004 with a new western loop, taking the circuit up to its current 3.7 km length with multiple alternative configurations (2.5 km, 3.0 km and 3.7 km variants). The signature character of the Anneau du Rhin is "stop and go" — a flowing layout punctuated by numerous 180-degree U-turns, sharp 90-degree corners and varying elevation changes interrupting fast straight sections. The 16 corners are anchored by the long flat-out front straight that follows the Virage des Champions. The circuit has established itself as a cornerstone of the Alsatian, German and Swiss regional motorsport scenes, hosting French GT championship rounds, historic racing events, French motorcycle championship rounds and a year-round car/motorcycle/drift/karting programme.
