About Circuito de Albacete
Circuito de Albacete is a 3.550 km, 14-turn (8 right / 6 left) motor racing circuit in Albacete, Castilla–La Mancha, Spain — the fourth permanent circuit built in Spain during the late-1980s circuit-building boom fuelled by Spanish enthusiasm for motorcycle racing. Opened in 1990 and laid out flat with constant-radius corners specifically with motorcycles in mind, Albacete hosted the World Superbike Championship from 1992 to 1999 and the FIM Endurance World Championship between 2003 and 2011. The circuit can also be configured as a 2.237 km, 8-turn medium loop or a 1.336 km, 6-turn short layout, and remains one of the most-used motorcycle trackday venues in central Spain.
