About Dortmunder Motorsport Club

Dortmunder Motorsport-Club e.V. (DMC) is one of Germany's oldest multi-discipline motorsport clubs, founded on 15 January 1950 as the "Dortmunder Motorradsport-Club" by a group of around 50 motorcycle enthusiasts. The club affiliated with the ADAC in February 1951 — adopting its current name "Dortmunder Motorsport-Club e.V. im ADAC" — and merged with the Tourenclub Dortmund in mid-1953. Based at Hörder Neumarkt 4, 44263 Dortmund. DMC organises and runs four of its own motorsport events per year, covering Bergrennen and Slalom, Youngtimer Autorennen, Motorrad Straßensport, Veteranenausfahrten and the DMC Race Weekend. The club is one of nine clubs that host a round of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie (NLS) and is a known name in the German motorcycle endurance scene through the Reinoldus Langstrecken-Cup. The annual ADAC/DMC Reinoldus Veteranenfahrt is dedicated to historic motorcycles, and since 2018 DMC is also a member of the Veranstaltergemeinschaft Youngtimertreffen Ruhr. A current Supermoto-Weltmeister, Jan Deitenbach, counts among the club's members. The club describes itself as "einer der leistungsstärksten Ortsclubs im ADAC Westfalen". For riders interested in motorsport heritage and active club participation in the Dortmund and wider NRW region, DMC has 75+ years of presence to draw from.
