Orechová Potôň, Slovakia 🇸🇰 · 5.92 km
Slovakia Ring (officially Automotodróm Slovakia Ring) is a 5.922 km, 14-corner motor racing circuit at Orechová Potôň near Dunajská Streda, around 50 km east of Bratislava in south-western Slovakia.… Read more
Designed by Austrian architect Hans Roth (also responsible for similar projects in Austria and Hungary), construction began on 1 October 2008 and the circuit officially opened exactly one year later on 1 October 2009. The 12 m wide layout features four artificial elevation changes (a 16 m rise in an otherwise pancake-flat region of southern Slovakia) and ties together long radius corners with high-speed straights — multiple alternative layouts can also be selected by combining sections. The Slovakia Ring holds FIA Grade II homologation and a full FIM motorcycle licence. Motorcycle racing debuted in 2010 with the inaugural Slovakian Motorcycle Grand Prix and rounds of the Alpe Adria International Championship, and the circuit has since hosted the FIM Endurance World Championship 200 Miles of Slovakia, the Central European Zone IRRC championship and the Czech-Slovak IDM rounds. Slovakia Ring is the largest circuit in central-eastern Europe and a year-round trackday destination for the Polish, Czech, Austrian and Hungarian scenes.
