Trackday @ Oschersleben

Built between July 1995 and July 1997 at a cost of €58 million, the circuit opened on 25 July 1997 as Germany's fourth permanent racing facility after the Nürburgring, Hockenheim and Sachsenring. The 11–13 m wide layout features 23 m of net elevation change and runs in a clockwise direction. Oschersleben has a separate motorcycle configuration that replaces the abrupt left-hander with a less harsh version designed to keep two-wheel racers safer. Oschersleben has hosted the FIM Superbike World Championship (1999–2006), the FIM Endurance World Championship 8 Hours of Oschersleben (since the late 1990s — one of the EWC classic events for over two decades), the German IDM Superbike Championship and historic round of the DTM. Its smooth surface, relatively narrow ribbon and technical mix of slow and fast corners have made it one of the most respected club racing venues in northern Germany, and a year-round destination for trackday riders from the Netherlands, Denmark and Poland as well as Germany.
